I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
